This is just one instrument to successfully implement the 2005-2010 State Programme for Reforming and Development of Public Health in Kazakhstan.

Main points in social and economic development of Kazakhstan up to 2020 task medical specialists with further introduction of modern methods for health care management, hospital management, medical aid, education and science.

The infrastructural development of medicine reflects the interest in expanding investment cooperation. This will allow holding an investment forum during the exhibition to discuss outlooks of design and construction of health facilities.

Again, Germany is presented with an official joint stand that has been organised by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology BMWI in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry AUMA and the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association ZVEI. 17 German companies are taking advantage of this official presentation in order to establish and strengthen valuable business contacts in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

It is one of Germany’s major national interests to engage and to reliably integrate into the healthcare markets of our common world. Especially in the field of healthcare, globalisation and its impacts are a daily challenge to growth and social welfare. Kazakhstan is an important partner of the European Union. KIHE 2009, now in it’s 16th year, is the most established international healthcare event in Kazakhstan and the largest healthcare exhibition in Central Asia.

We are delighted to welcome new and regular international exhibitors as well as local companies who are using KIHE as a platform to strengthen their position in Kazakhstan’s market and develop new international contacts. This year more than 130 participants from 16 countries joined the exhibition. We would like to give our special regards to the German National Stand and group of companies from Turkey, Jordan and China.
