KIHE illustrates the high international interest in Kazakhstan medicines

Medical exhibitions are currently the most important platforms for demonstrating the latest achievements of medical science and healthcare, and they annually welcome participation from domestic and international leaders of the medical and pharmaceutical industries, along with developers of new and advanced technologies for diagnosing and treating diseases.

It is an accepted fact that exhibitions reflect the market situation, and the presence of well-known medical and pharmaceutical companies at KIHE 2012 illustrates the level of international interest shown in Kazakhstan. The event will take place, in several of Atakent’s pavilions, from 16 to 18 May in Almaty.

Iteca, the event’s organiser, has revealed that around 180 companies from 18 countries have already confirmed their participation for this year. Malaysia will present a national stand for the first time, as will regular exhibitors Germany and China, and a large group of Turkish companies will exhibit at the event, joining Austria, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, South Korea and Japan as countries represented at KIHE this year.

KIHE is being worked on by Iteca’s network of partners from the UK, Germany and Turkey, and is Kazakhstan and Central Asia’s largest international healthcare exhibition in terms of representation and number of exhibitors.

The event is afforded considerable status by its official support from the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Medical Services Quality Control, the Almaty Mayoral Office, the Almaty City Healthcare Department, National Medical Holding JSC, the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, the Association of International Pharmaceutical Companies in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Medical Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the diplomatic missions of exhibitor countries.

KIHE is an excellent opportunity to put your company forward as a trustworthy business partner, to access the competitiveness of your products and to find out about future developments in sectors that interest you.

The aim for the majority of exhibitors remains to sign as many contracts as possible during the exhibition. Some, when launching a key project, even study the market for a whole year before attending the exhibition specifically to secure a client.

We are pleased to announce that the general sponsor of KIHE 2012 is Yumgiskor Holding, and that the special event sponsor is ALMAS X.

Exhibitors with a wide range of medical products and services will be represented at KIHE, from medicine producers to manufacturers, dealers and distributors of medical equipment, ophthalmological developments, disinfectant products and much more.

The event’s business programme will feature seminars from MS Westphalia GmbH entitled “Medical equipment, innovative technology and their promotion” and from KazMedTech on “Leasing of medical equipment”, along with several presentations from Yumgiskor Holding. These are not the only seminars and presentations on the list, however: the business programme is constantly being updated on the exhibition’s official website.

We recommend that all industry professionals interested in attending KIHE 2012 register at http://onsite.iteca.kz/ as soon as possible in order to speed up entry to the pavilion on the day and to ensure free participation in round tables, seminars and presentations.
